Abstract
A análise distingue a contribuição diferencial e fusão das diversas tradições nos rituais e também na cosmologia" ["This paper provides an initial outline which intends to explore the mechanics by which the different religious traditions that inform the Barquinha religion have been synthesized. Barquinha is a recently founded Christian church in the Brazilian Amazon that uses Ayahuasca (called Santo Daime) as a central sacrament and also spirit-possession derived from the Afrobrazilian tradition. The analysis distinguishes the differential contribution and fusion of the several traditions in the rituals, and also in the cosmology"]
