Abstract
["St. Thomas Aquinas is one of the thinkers who has raised more disciples from the Middle Ages to today. Under the generic name of "Thomism" is often incorporated into any philosophy based on the principles of the Angelic Doctor. Fergus Kerr tries to show what those "versions of Thomism" are, as the subtitle versa of his work, especially from what is known as Leonine Thomism opened with Aeterni Patris Encyclical promulgated in 1879 by Pope Leo XIII. It is very valuable that the author confined his study to this time period, in which, it claims, the thought of Aquinas was revived to resist the influence in Roman Catholic theology of modern philosophy, especially Descartes, Kant and Hegel".]
