Abstract
"En efecto, tal como lo advierte su prólogo, el libro que aquí se recensiona constituye un generoso principio para cualquiera que se inicia en los estudios albertinos. A los largo de sus más de 800 páginas el texto propone “introducir a los estudiantes de filosofía, de ciencias y de teología [...] al actual estado de investigación de varios aspectos de la obra de Alberto Magno” (pg. 2). Para ello el editor ha convocado a un importante número de especialistas quienes abordan diversos temas del pensar albertino, y cuyos trabajos se estructuran en dos grandes partes precedidas de una introducción biográfica y finalizadas por un epílogo. De las dos secciones principales, una aborda la temática teológica mientras que la otra se aplica a la filosófica" ["Indeed, as the preface notes, the book here is recensiona is a generous principle for any that begins in the albertinos studies.
