Abstract
"La Conferencia Internacional del Trabajo, en su 93.ª reunión (junio de 2005), aprobó el Programa y Presupuesto de la OIT para el bienio 2006-2007. Este Programa gira en torno al reconocimiento del trabajo decente como un objetivo global, entendiendo, por tanto, que todos los hombres y mujeres del mundo aspiran a conseguir un trabajo productivo en condiciones de libertad, igualdad, seguridad y dignidad. Para la OIT, este objetivo global, asumido también por la Comisión Mundial sobre la Dimensión Social de la Globalización1, debe ser progresivamente incorporado a las estrategias nacionales de desarrollo, estrategias cuya ejecución será apoyada mediante programas de trabajo decente por país, formulados y ejecutados por la Oficina y los mandantes, tal como lo estableció la propia Conferencia. La XVI Reunión Regional de los Estados americanos Miembros de la OIT ante la que presento este informe se celebra al inicio del período abarcado por dicho Programa y, por lo tanto, se enmarca en sus políticas y estrategias". ["The International Labour Conference at its 93 . Session (June 2005) , adopted the Programme and Budget for 2006-2007 ILO . this Program revolves around the recognition of decent work as a goal Overall , understanding , therefore, that all men and women of the world aspire to obtain productive work in conditions of freedom , equity, security and dignity. For the ILO, this overall objective, also taken by the Commission Commission on the Social Dimension of globalization1 should be progressively incorporated into national development strategies, whose implementation strategies will be supported through programs of decent work country formulated and implemented by the Office and constituents , as established by the Conference itself. The Sixteenth American Regional Meeting of the ILO member States to the I present this report is held at the beginning of the period covered by the Program and , therefore , is part of their policies and strategies".]
