Abstract
"Este documento busca proporcionar mediciones sobre algunos indicadores que reflejan las diferencias en las percepciones de la población que vive en condiciones de pobreza, respecto de cuatro conceptos: satisfactores mínimos, vida digna, bienestar y pobreza. Se consideran de especial interés para este estudio las coincidencias y disimilitudes en la forma en que hombres y mujeres perciben la pobreza y el bienestar en relación con ellos mismos y en relación al sexo opuesto. El hecho de que los aspectos de género se relacionen de forma particular con la pobreza y el bienestar ha sido analizado por distintos investigadores. Autores especializados en diversas disciplinas han abordado el tema para llegar a conclusiones que señalan el importante papel que dichos aspectos desempeñan en relación con las condiciones de pobreza en que viven millones de personas en todo el mundo". ["This paper aims to provide measurements on some indicators that reflect the differences in the perceptions of the population living in poverty , compared to four concepts : minimal satisfiers , decent life, welfare and poverty . Are considered of special interest to this study the similarities and dissimilarities in the way men and women perceive poverty and welfare in relation to themselves and in relation to the opposite sex. The fact that gender issues relating in particular to poverty and welfare has been analyzed by different researchers . Specialized in various disciplines authors have addressed the issue to reach conclusions that point to the important role that these issues play in relation to the conditions of poverty in which millions of people living across the world".]
