Abstract
["The importance of starting a regional dialogue on the understanding of the types of conflict present in Latin America and the Caribbean today , its causes and consequences, and the answers they give to organizations and affected communities is the fundamental interest of this reflection , which aims to investigate responses to conflicts when they become violent , either by the inability of the states in the region to tackle them and recognize them , either because there is a lack of political will to manage them , either because there are too many external pressures that produce and feed , or because the resources available for treatment and imagination have been scarce . The present moment lives changing focus of the armed conflicts in the Mesoamerican region to the Andean -Amazon , which occupy much interest hemispheric governments , particularly the U.S".]
