Abstract

"En este documento se analiza la compleja relación entre el crecimiento económico, el empleo, la productividad laboral y la distribución de ingresos. Para ello se toman en cuenta perspectivas complementarias: Por un lado, se indaga en las formas en que la fuerza de trabajo y las políticas laborales pueden contribuir a acelerar el crecimiento económico sostenible. Por otro lado, la evolución del empleo, sus características y su impacto en la distribución no pueden entenderse sin analizar su relación con el crecimiento económico y con la estructura productiva e institucional de la economía".
