Abstract
ABSTRAK
 
 Kurikulum merupakan elemen penting dari unsur pendidikan. Kurikulum merupakan faktor pembelajaran yang perlu di perhatikan untuk meningkatkan proses pendidikan. diantara faktor pendidikan yaitu : Guru, Peserta didik, Kurikulum, Tujuan, Masyarakat, dan Peralatan.
 
 Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Tersedianya kurikulum pembelajaran untuk materi ketrampilan berbicara yang di desain berdasarkan budaya daerah bagi mahasiswa Aceh di Malang. (2) Untuk mengetahui karakteristik kurikulum pembelajaran untuk materi ketrampilan berbicara yang di desain berdasarkan budaya daerah bagi mahasiswa Aceh di Malang. (3) Untuk mengetahui kelayakan kurikulum pembelajaran untuk materi ketrampilan berbicara yang di desain berdasarkan budaya daerah bagi mahasiswa Aceh di Malang.
 
 Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pengembangan dengan Pendekatan Kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Wawancara, Kuesioner, Post-Test. Hasil penelitian ini adalah : (1) Adanya kurikulum keterampilan berbicara berdasarkan budaya daerah aceh yang di desain meliputi hal-hal berikut : tujuan umum, tujuan khusus, indikator, materi, metode, media, evaluasi, langkah-langkah pembelajaran dan sumber belajar. (2) Kurikulum ini memiliki karakteristik yang sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip budaya aceh, baik dari segi bahasa, adat dan aturan sosial yang melebur pada unsur-unsur kurikulum. (3) Kurikulum berdasarkan budaya aceh ini layak untuk di gunakan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara mahasiswa aceh di malang, terbukti dari hasil validasi dari pakar kurikulum dan pakar bahasa yang mencapai nilai “Baik Sekali”, serta dari hasil uji coba materi terhadap mahasiswa yang mencapai nilai “Baik Sekali”
 
 ABSTRACT
 
 Curriculum is an important element as well as a learning factor needed in improving educational process. Among elements of education are: teachers, students, curriculum, aims, society, and equipment.
 
 The aims of this study were: (1) The availability of curriculum for speaking skill based on regional culture for Aceh students in Malang. (2) To find out the characteristics of curriculum for speaking skill based on regional culture for Aceh students in Malang. (3) To find out the properness of curriculum for speaking skill based on regional culture for Aceh students in Malang.
 
 The method used in this research was development method with qualitative approach. The instruments used were Interview, Questionnare, and Tests. The results of this study were: (1) The curriculum design of speaking skills based on Aceh culture are: general purposes, objectives, indicators, materials, methods, media, evaluation, learning steps and learning resources. (2) This curriculum has characteristics corresponding to the principles of Aceh culture, in terms of language, customs and social rules that merged the elements of the curriculum. (3) This Aceh culture-based curriculum is appropriate for use in improving the speaking skills of Aceh students in Malang, it has been proved by the results of the validation of both curriculum and language experts, which marked "very good", as well as the test results of students who achieve grades "very good".
