Abstract
"«Viviendo bajo la sombra de Mönchberg » es uno de los 19 relatos autobiográficos del volumen Defi ant Birth: Women Who Resist Medical Eugenics (2006). Su protagonista, Elizabeth R. Schiltz, describe de forma directa y clara su experiencia durante el embarazo de un niño con Síndrome de Down. Las protagonistas son mujeres que provienen de bagajes culturales, económicos, e ideológicos distintos, pero que coinciden en muchos puntos a la hora de valorar cómo han sido tratadas durante sus embarazos". [""It Living under the shadow of Mönchberg 'is one of the 19 volume autobiographical accounts Defi ant Birth: Women Who Resist Medical Eugenics (2006). Its protagonist, Elizabeth R.
