Abstract
["The perplexity by Peter Singer thesis and breaking the taboo on euthanasia, dominant since 1945, has been opening a reflection on the reasons that led to abandon this taboo. First, stumbled upon the demographic situation in Western industrialized countries. This state of affairs is unparalleled historically possible. The development of medicine leads to have more people of age, while the media to shape public opinion propagated for decades a lifestyle whereby there will soon be fewer and fewer young people to feeding older".]
