Abstract
"Los Comités de Ética deben salvaguardar los derechos, seguridad y bienestar de todos los sujetos de un ensayo clínico. Una de las tareas indispensables para poder cumplir con su función de proteger a los sujetos es revisar los modelos del consentimiento informado y la política establecida para su solicitud y documentación. Se evaluó la calidad de las revisiones por los Comités de Ética del procedimiento del consentimiento informado para los ensayos clínicos en Cuba. Se revisaron 37 ensayos clínicos y solo en 12 se comprobó alguna sugerencia al consentimiento informado. Las sugerencias fueron muy pocas si se comparan con las deficiencias de los modelos revisados. La mayoría de las sugerencias se referían al contenido de la información. Una cantidad importante de las indicaciones hechas por los Comités de Ética no fueron realizadas posteriormente por los responsables del ensayo clínico. En ninguno de los ensayos analizados se encontró documentación sobre la revisión del procedimiento del consentimiento informado durante la marcha de la investigación. Revisar el consentimiento informado es una obligación casi olvidada por los Comités de Ética en Cuba y es necesario revertir esta situación". ["Ethics Committees should safeguard rights , safety and welfare of all subjects in a clinical trial. One of the essential tasks for to fulfill its function of protecting is subject to review models informed consent and politics established for your application and documentation. Quality was evaluated review by the Ethics Committees of informed consent procedure for clinical trials in Cuba . And only 37 clinical trials were reviewed in 12 some suggestion was found to consent informed. suggestions were very few when compared to the deficiencies of revised models. the Most suggestions related to information content . A significant number of the entries made by the Ethics Committees were not subsequently made ​​by the responsible clinical trial . None of tests analyzed documentation found on the revision of the procedure informed consent during the progress of the investigation . Review the informed consent is an obligation almost forgotten by the Committees Ethics in Cuba and is required reverse this situation".]
