Abstract

The ethics of care vow to overcome the right-obligation paradigm, in order to promote a society where individuals' needs are at the center of social relations. Some supporters of this approach have maintained that a few rules of contemporary International law are not inconsistent with this view. The short essay critically evaluates such a conclusion.
