Theological Studies and Ecumene

Abstract

This bilateral (Greek and English) edition of the Minutes of the International Conference “Theological Studies and Ecumene - With reference to the participation of the Orthodox Church to Inter-Christian Dialogues and their future” (March 2012) offers the reader all necessary information on current issues regarding the participation of the Orthodox Church in the Ecumenical Movement. Also, it explores the potentiality for the structure of a theological education in an ecumenical perspective. With the contribution of the most experienced and competent Theologians in the field of healthy Ecumenism, an effort has been made in order to give the sign of this new educational process, having as a solid basis the Orthodox point of view and the evaluation of the Ecumenical Movement accordingly; and certainly under the dynamic and renovating character of the Orthodox tradition and history as a fact of ‘here and now’, in the whole eschatological perspective of the Orthodox Church.
