Abstract
"The profession of social work has long regarded professional supervision as central to the maintenance of best practice and has taken a leadership role in asserting the significance of supervision in health and human service settings. The AASW Supervision Standards continue that tradition by further articulating expectations for the professional supervision of social workers in the current and varied contexts in which social work is practised in Australia."
