Abstract
I had a long-standing debt to this country, not only for the many invitations he had failed to reciprocate, but the number of people who write to me and in a very small proportion have been able to help, cooperate with their jobs. Therefore I am very grateful to FELAFACS for making it possible, at least in a small part, forgive this debt. I'm going to make a reflection in three stages: I think we can not think the last "paradigms" models of society, without putting them into historical perspective. You can not talk about the information society or knowledge as if it had nothing to do with the transformation matrix, which has been and continues to be in the vast majority of our countries market society. First reflect on the models of society, because in most countries of Latin America, together with the dominant model in some way other societal models and other models of knowledge and knowledge that our universities usually unaware survive. I will deal first models of society, then the models of knowledge and finally university models"]
