Abstract
A.A: Me llamo Ashanti Alston. To start, can you tell us about your experience within the PPN? A.A: My name is Ashanti Alston. I am a former member of the Black Panther Party. I was also a soldier in the Black Liberation Army, an extension of the PPN. Currently I have sesentitrés years. I started this revolutionary struggle during early adolescence, at age fourteen. In 1967, I participated in a series of rebellions in the black community in the United States, and tired of seeing no way to curb the racist oppression of which he was the victim. All that turned me into a politically conscious person. So I started reading Malcolm X1 and closely follow his speeches. Between 1969 and 1978, my friends and I had some projects in mind for the PPN. What was new was that the PPN want total liberation of African Americans and realized that this would not be possible without the United States had a revolution to destroy all capitalist country basis. So we followed closely the suffering of other oppressed and the other contestarios movements in and out of the US, worldwide"]
