Abstract
"Neste artigo, analisamos o conceito de yajña (sacrifício) em relação a karman (ação), considerando a transição entre uma ênfase social e coletiva na performance dos sacrifícios solenes (Śrauta) na tradição da Índia antiga e a ênfase na prática e consciência individuais na filosofia da Bhagavad-gītā, conforme os termos do Vaiṣṇavismo de Caitanya. Na Bhagavad-gītā, yajña é descrito de forma abrangente, em oposição às estritas regras e tabus da tradição ritual indiana, sendo relacionado a diferentes estágios de conhecimento e desapego que culminariam, por fim, em mokṣa (liberação), uma vez que yajña, em relação à Bhakti, tem como objetivo preliminar isentar o indivíduo do ônus da ação – um dos temas centrais da Gītā –, que mantêm a entidade viva no ciclo da transmigração da alma (saṃsāra)" ["Dans cet article, nous analysons le concept de Yajna (sacrifice) par rapport à karman (action), compte tenu de la transition entre un accent sociale et collective sur la performance des sacrifices solennels (Śrauta) dans la tradition de l'Inde ancienne et l'accent sur la pratique et la conscience individuelle dans la philosophie de la Bhagavad-Gita, que les termes de la Vaishnavism de Chaitanya. Dans la Bhagavad-Gita, Yajna est décrite en détail, par opposition à des règles et des tabous de la tradition rituelle indienne strictes, et en fonction des différentes étapes de la connaissance et culminant enfin détachement dans moksa (Libération), depuis Yajna, par rapport à Bhakti, a comme objectif principal d'exonérer l'individu du fardeau de l'action - l'un des thèmes centraux de la Gita - qui empêchent l'entité vivante en la transmigration de l'âme (saṃsāra) cycle"]
