Abstract
A time in history when humanity is facing spectacular scientific and technological advances, we face a scenario that permeates science fictions, making it possible to transform the utopias of cinema in a consistent reality and discusses their ethical and social implications. In this new era, in which already provides for man-machine interaction through the development of technology and biotechnology in very advanced levels, full of expectations, and thereafter, are explained fundamental concepts for the understanding of the subject, in this context, discussed numerous themes and issues raised in too disturbing, ranging from improving the human capacity to dream of immortality. This article interweaves concepts often discussed in the context of science fiction correlating them with the reality that approaches due to the great technical and scientific progress today, allowing a logical reasoning and critical about it"]
