Abstract
Em outras palavras, a mitologia e os procedimentos ideológicos fazem com que a violência que estrutura e organiza as relações sociais brasileiras não possa ser percebida e, por não ser percebida, é naturalizada, sendo que essa naturalização conserva a mitologia da não-violência, com a qual se brada pelo “retorno à ética” e essa “ética”, não é a verdadeira ética e sim uma ideologia que serve para ocultar a violência constitutiva da sociedade brasileira" ["Violence is not perceived where it originates and where it is defined as violence properly, that is, as all practices and ideas that reduce subjects to the condition of a thing, that violates the being of somebody both internally and externally, that perpetuates social relations of deep economic, social and cultural inequality. More than that, society does not perceive that the very explanations offered are violent, because they are unable to identify the real place of violence production, that is, the structure of the Brazilian society. Thus, economic, social and cultural inequalities, economic, social and political exclusions, and the corruption as the modus operandi of institutions, racism, sexism, religious, sexual and political intolerance are not considered forms of violence, that is, the Brazilian society is not perceived as structurally violent, and violence appears as a sporadic fact of surface. In other words, the ideological mythology and procedures make the violence that structures and organizes Brazilian social relations not to be perceived, and, as it is not perceived, violence is naturalized, and this naturalization maintains the mythology of non-violence, with which people argue for the “return to ethics” and this “ethics” is not the true ethics but rather an ideology that serves to occult the constituent violence of the Brazilian society"]
