Abstract

"Este estudo argumenta sobre a crise da razão enquanto esta é reduzida ao conhecimento tecnocientífico, e transformada ao mesmo tempo em instrumento do poder e em interpretação unidimensional das realidades. Abandona-se o caráter sensível do mundo, e com ele os sentimentos e paixões da subjetividade. Ao reduzir o conhecimento às informações, substitui o encanto e as utopias, pelo impositivo consumo de emoções. A revanche do irracional desponta com o sentimento sobre a violência destrutiva desse processo. Com sinais palpáveis de fanatismo, integrismos e fundamentalismos, torna-se hoje aguda pela busca de tudo aquilo que tem sido proscrito ou reprimido pela razão como ciência.
