Abstract
"Mis colegas y yo nos ocupamos de preguntas como éstas en la investigación que hacemos en geología y paleontología. En mi estudio he encontrado un proceso muy útil en la búsqueda de respuestas. Acepto las Escrituras por fe, por la simple razón de que Dios sabe mucho más que nosotros acerca de la geología. Permito que la comprensión de la Biblia me oriente al formular las preguntas que otros generalmente no hacen, que me permita ver datos que otros pueden haber pasado por alto, y me ayude a considerar nuevas interpretaciones que el pensamiento científico convencional probablemente no sugiera. A la vez, es importante actuar dentro de la comunidad científica geológica, trabajar con investigadores no creacionistas, y publicar trabajos en revistas científicas. Este es un importante proceso de control de calidad que nos ayuda a evitar el pensamiento superficial de ambos lados. Mi cosmovisión me induce a observar cosas que los científicos no creacionistas probablemente no vean, y ellos ven cosas que yo podría pasar por alto.
