Abstract
My concern to address this philosopher is precisely the importance of the other in the self. I think it is important this reflection, it is a proposal that comes to bring a new way of thinking philosophy. In this research just try on the genesis of this thought, because in order to get to know Levinas proposal we must go back from the beginning, so, a whole tour was providing bases for the proposal is made"]
