 This research is conducted to find out the characteristics of harmonious family in a
 film script of Little Miss Sunshine. The writer uses qualitative and descriptive
 analysis method. She analyzes the characteristics of harmonious family uses the
 theory of literary psychology by Renne Wellek and Austin Warren (1977) then
 related it to the concept of harmonious family by Singgih D. Gunarsa and Yulia
 Singgih. Little Miss Sunshine film script represents the various characterizations and
 the harmonious of Harvey family. Each member has a dream and they cannot reach
 their dream, but they are succeeding in built harmonious family. Finally, Harveys is a
 strong family, they accept their own failure and solving family's problem together
 love each other and are always happy in every situation.
