Abstract
When we imagine the childhood of Jesus, in the small town of Nazareth, the assumed quiet with St. Joseph working quietly between wood chips, saw and chisel, while the child Jesus playing with wooden carts made by his father, and Mary sang washing clothing, all surrounded by the kind peasants of the village. But it was not. The era in which he lived Jesus was marked by social protests, peasant revolts and political uprisings, some that occurred near where Jesus lived. None of these rebel movements succeeded. All were brutally suppressed by the Roman authorities, who at that time owned the country. But the spirit of rebellion remained always live on stage Palestine, so that Jesus grew up and lived from early childhood amid a general atmosphere of protests and riots against the power of Rome, which marked a decisive way his career as a teacher"]
