Abstract
From the most innovative sectors of Catholicism often continue in praise of-the Vatican II Council which closed now just 40 years (8/12/1965) ago. And not without reason, because although these events, usually organized from above, usually before a point of arrival to departure, Vatican II, as is known, in many respects exceeded this standard. In this sense, as end point (end of the Counter), and also as a starting point ("aggiornamento" of the Church and encounter with modernity) Vatican II remains for Christians (and not only for them) A referent of great interest"]
