Abstract
To consider the seat of Colombian Caribbean culture means to also acknowledge what appears to be the source of constitution and affirmation of that culture, searching its generations throughout time, finally to have an economic and sociopolitical form that shapes it and enables understanding of all the fabric that defines it. Taking up the methodological interest of a social producer like Antonio Gramsci, that despite the contingency of passing time, maintains the validity of its considerations opposed to the possibility of interpreting the social, it seems appropriate to thus look at the Caribbean culture as a construct of power which is maintained to the extent that said power is spread throughout the body of the entire society."]
