Abstract
Jó 42,5, devidamente contextualizado, pode oferecer um ponto de inflexão para os que se afundam em um niilismo de crenças e se afastam dos valores sagrados, julgando que a fé e a religião são coisas ultrapassadas e que servem, somente, para suprir as necessidades dos poucos esclarecidos" ["Despite so many material acquisitions that seems to promote wellness, a symptomatic nostalgia and a vague sense of emptiness turn into relativism the true and lasting happiness, or the real possibility of it, creating a fatalistic attitude in many people or an escape from themselves and their responsibilities for others. Therefore, the presence and action of God, in the world and the lives of men, remain a troublesome mystery. Job 42,5, when properly contextualized, can provide a turning point for those who sink into nihilism of beliefs and deviate from the sacred values, stating that faith and religion are outdated and things that serve only to meet the needs of few enlightened ones"]
