Mission Has Received the Following Communication From Ms. Asma Jahangir, Special Rapporteur on Extrajudicial, Summary or Arbitrary Executions and Mr. Theo Van Boven, Special Rapporteur on Torture Regarding 22 Ethic-Uighurs of Chinese Nationality Being Held at Guantánamo Bay. "It is alleged that the detainees were subjected to intimidation and threats, and to 'stress and duress' techniques such as environmental manipulation, forced sitting for many hours, and sleep deprivation, some of which were carreid out on the instructions of the Chinese delegation."
