Construyendo un modelo de participación ciudadana desde la iglesia local [Building a model citizen participation from the local church]

Abstract

"Este trabajo está dirigido a la comunidad evangélica de Medellín para estimular su participación social desde los valores cristianos y teniendo en cuenta el diseño metodológico de construcción ciudadana que la municipalidad implementa en la Planeación Local y el Presupuesto Participativo, con el fin de contribuir al mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de sus conciudadanos. La pregunta central de esta investigación es ¿Pueden las iglesias evangélicas de Medellín ser agentes de cambios sociales y constructores de modelos de desarrollo participativo con recursos eclesiales y del municipio al mismo tiempo? El objeto de estudio de esta reflexión son los acuerdos municipales que dan vía libre a la expresión de la contribución ciudadana en Medellín, teniendo como fundamento legal y marco teórico los principios fundamentales que ofrece la Constitución Colombiana" ["This work is directed to the evangelical community of Medellín to stimulate their social participation from Christian values and considering the methodological design of civic construction that the municipality implements the Local Planning and Participatory Budget, in order to help improve the quality of life of its citizens.
