Abstract
Por fim, são extraídas algumas consequências desta concepção da fé, em relação à sua liberdade e certeza, bem como à sua distinção da confiança" ["This article analyses the nature of the act of faith in God, that is, of the religious affirmation of God, as a necessary condition in order to subsequently examine its rationality. Faith in God is defined as a modality of radical faith, that is, of the adhesion to what represents, for each human being, the ultimate meaning of existence. Radical faith is then understood as the intellectual intuition of an experimental and existential nature which has the characteristic of a personal knowledge based on greater or lesser evidence resulting from the harmony between the knower’s dispositions and what he assumes as supreme value. Finally, some consequences of this conception of faith related to its freedom and certainty, as well as to the distinction between faith and trust will be examined"]
