Abstract

"Este trabalho objetiva trazer à tona um novo entendimento da palavra “água” no evangelho de João. Para tal fim serão usadas técnicas exegéticas, críticas históricas e literárias da Bíblia nos capítulos 2, 3 e 4 do Evangelho de João; usando-se de paralelos com Oséias, 2Reis 17 e a carta de Paulo 1Co 15; Por fim, será visto como o povo judeuhelenista se utilizava do elemento água em seu significado, modo bem diferente às formas representativas que chegaram a nós ocidentais. Algumas teorias de Freud e Jung serão visualizadas a fim de entenderem-se, hoje, a existência de tal prática de época, o que nos indicará mais uma possibilidade de melhoras instrumentais da condição humana também na atualidade" ["This paper aims to bring out a new understanding of the word "water" in the Gospel of John.
