Abstract
The borders have traditionally played the paper delimitation of sovereign powers State and have been the focus of permanent conflicts. in European geographic space setting a supranational entity like the European Union has meant the crisis of the traditional concept of border passing a national border to a regional border. this transformation it is assumed to change the function and purpose of the national borders becoming a European border whose mission should be to strengthen the European identity address threats caused by globalization in their multidimensional"]
