Osmanlı Üretim İlişkileri Tartışmalarında Farklı Bir Yaklaşım: Hikmet Kıvılcımlı Örneği

Abstract

Osmanlıtoplum yapısını ve üretim ilişkilerini açıklamaya yönelik farklı yaklaşımlarönemli tartışmaları da beraberinde getirmiştir. Bu tartışmalar Türkiye realitesininiçinden çıktığı toplumsal yapıyı görmezden gelen eğilimler nedeniyle Marxist çevrelerinOsmanlı toplumsal yapısına odaklanmasıyla başlamıştır. Tartışmaların anaeksenini, kapitalizme geçiş koşulları ve Osmanlı'nın üretim ilişkilerinibelirli modellere göre açıklama girişimleri oluşturmaktadır. HikmetKıvılcımlı’nın yaklaşımını, feodalizm, ATÜT, pre-kapitalizm, patrimonyalizm yada tarihçilerin yaptığı gibi kendine özgü bir toplumsal yapı olarak gören bu yaklaşımlarınsadece biriyle izah etmek mümkün görünmemektedir. Kıvılcımlı kapitalizm öncesitoplum biçimlerinde olduğu gibi Osmanlı toplumunu da genel tarih teziçerçevesinde ele alır ve başka bir model kullanmaz. Kıvılcımlı’nın Osmanlıtoplumsal yapısını tahlil ederken kullandığı bakış açısı, kendi başına özgünbir model olmakla birlikte diğer yaklaşımların da bazı izlerini taşımaktadır.

Different approaches to explain the structure of theOttoman society and its relations of production have brought with significant discussions.These discussions have begun with the focus of Marxist environment on theOttoman social structure because of the tendencies that ignore the reality ofTurkey that come from its own social structure. The main theme of thediscussions consists of the attempts to explain the conditions of transition tocapitalism and the relations of production of the Ottoman, according to certainmodels. It is not possible to explain Hikmet Kıvılcımlı's approach with onlyone of these approaches such as feudalism, ATUT, pre-capitalism, patrimonialismor to see it as a sui generis social structure as historians have done.Kıvılcımlı treats the Ottoman society in his general history thesis as inpre-capitalist society forms and does not use another model. The point of viewthat Kıvılcımlı has while analyzing the Ottoman social structure, as well asbeing a unique model in itself, it contains some traits of other approaches.
