Abstract
"Afirma Claudio Magris en su obra Microcosmos que “la frontera es un dios que a veces exige sacrificios de sangre”, terrible constatación que no puede menos que evocarnos el terrible drama de tantas personas, hombres, mujeres y, cada vez más, criaturas de corta edad, que sucumben a bordo de una patera una noche de levante en el Estrecho o malviven hacinad@s en la ciudad de Ceuta, convertida para ell@s en una amarga trampa donde dan al traste sus ilusiones de alcanzar en la orilla europea una vida más digna o un lugar donde el bebé que llevan en su vientre pueda nacer sin las privaciones que sus madres padecieron" ["Claudio Magris says in his Microcosmos that "the border is a God sometimes requires blood sacrifices "terrible realization that no unless it can evoke the terrible drama of so many people, men, women and, increasingly, creatures young children, who succumb aboard a boat lift one night in the Strait or barely survive in hacinad @ s Ceuta, converted to ell @ s in a bitter trap to give the ruin their hopes of reaching the European side a better life or where the baby carrying in her womb might be born without privations that their mothers suffered"]
