Abstract
"La situación social y cultural de este fin de siglo plantea al cristianismo un conjunto de desafíos muy profundos, pues nos encontramos en una hora de la historia muy intensa, en una coyuntura en la que se acumulan grandes transformaciones sociales, económicas y culturales; en definitiva, nos hallamos en medio de la transición a un nuevo modo de producción y a una nueva Civilización marcada ante todo por el fenómeno de la mundialización" ["Social and cultural situation of this century poses to Christianity a set of very profound challenges, as we are in an hour the intense story, in a situation in which accumulate large social, economic and cultural transformations; In short, we are amid the transition to a new mode of production and a new Civilization marked above all by the phenomenon of globalization"]
