Abstract
The notion of corporeity is to be found in the heart of a philosophical anthropology in which one distinguishes two orientations, the phenomenological and the scientific. Can these come together at the point of origin? Can the « flesh » of the world, in the ontological sense, and the genesis of man in the evolution of living beings be fitted into the concept of structure? But the notion of structure of behaviour in the analysis of perception, of emotion, of expressivity cannot explain the affective self as such. Might it not be necessary to resort to an exegesis of metaphors in order to grasp the meaning of affectivity? In the light of this project one perceives some possible lines of research, such as the analysis of the Befindlichkeit, that of the lived temporality and of desire, that of the for-others.
