Abstract
El trabajo invita a imaginar a Dios con otras imágenes más relevantes para la vida y cultura latinoamericana, tales como: Dios-Acompañante, Dios- Multiculturalizador/a, Dios-Pacificador/a y Dios-Madre" ["This work is based on the topic of pastoral images on the Bible. Many images of God have been made in many cultures, as in the Bible, as it was written in the antique Middle East and Greece contexts. The investigation identifies pastoral images in Summer, Assyria, Babylon, Egypt and Greece, highlighting similarities and differences on its uses between these nations and Israel, and between Old and New Testaments. In this analysis, the use of the term Pastor is distinguished as the occupation of other uses of the term transferred to divinity, to kings and leaders, as also is distinguished the term Messiah-Pastor from the primitive Christian leadership pastoral functions. This work invites to imagine God with other more relevant images for Latin-American life and culture, such as: God as Accompanying, God as Multicultural, God as Pacifying and God as Mother"]
