Abstract
"Actualmente el servicio farmacéutico hospitalario (SFH), liderado por el farmacéutico hospitalario es el responsable máximo de la selección, planificación, adquisición, almacenamiento, distribución, control, elaboración, dispensación y provisión de información sobre productos farmacéuticos y otros productos afines utilizados en el hospital. Es también participe del seguimiento del uso terapéutico que se les da a los medicamentos a través de actividades de farmacovigilancia. Es de destacar la gran responsabilidad ética que enmarca la labor del profesional farmacéutico hospitalario, su relación con los demás profesionales, la toma de decisiones administrativas y las relacionadas con el paciente como principal ente autónomo y social al cual van dirigidos los servicios. Por la importancia que reviste destacar su labor dentro del equipo médico de salud y su papel en los últimos veinte años y su evolución dentro de la ética profesional al servicio de la sociedad es que surge esta revisión, precisamente con el objetivo de enmarcar dentro del fenómeno ético la labor de la farmacia hospitalaria y los farmacéuticos que ejercen su rol protagonista en ella. Se hace una reflexión acerca de los diferentes aspectos bioéticos que lo distinguen, su rol a la hora de la toma de decisiones dentro de la farmacoterapéutica y otros escenarios, su relación con los demás profesionales y los problemas éticos a los cuales se enfrenta a cada día, así como su papel en la farmacovigilancia hospitalaria mirada desde los cuatro principios bioéticos" ["Currently the hospital pharmacy service (SFH), led by the hospital pharmacist has overall responsibility for the selection, planning, procurement, storage, distribution, control, manufacture, supply and provision of information on pharmaceutical products and other related products used in the hospital . It is also part of the monitoring of therapeutic use that is given to medicines through pharmacovigilance activities. Noteworthy is the great ethical responsibility that frames the work of the hospital pharmacist career, his relationship with other professionals, making administrative decisions and patient-related main autonomous and social entity to which the services are directed. By highlighting the importance of their work within the medical health team and their role in the last twenty years and developments in professional ethics in the service of society is that this review arises precisely in order to frame within the phenomenon ethical work of hospital pharmacy and pharmacists practicing his starring role in it. A reflection on the various bioethical aspects that distinguish it done, its role when making decisions within the pharmacotherapeutic and other scenarios, its relationship with other professionals and ethical problems which confronts every day and their role in hospital pharmacovigilance look from the four bioethical principles"]
