Abstract

"Els «espirituals» són un dels moviments heterodoxos que van fer acte de presència en la baixa edat mitjana, especialment els qui, capitanejats per Guillem d’Ockham, van oposar-se, des de la cort de Lluís de Baviera al papa Joan XXII. Aquest papa va formular una hipòtesi sobre l’ajornament de la visió beatífica dels sants que són al cel. Es tracta d’una opinió que, en contrast amb els «espirituals», té un rerefons eclesiològic i fins i tot polític.
