Abstract
This article raises biblical, historical and archaeological information that enables the realization plausible evidence on the relationship direct existing between the peoples inhabiting the Middle East to time current and the Ismaili people mentioned in the Bible. Starting from the etymology of the term of the study, and showing the genealogical descent of such people, it presents its development in the history of the East to show who are the Ismailis today in its relationship with large ethnic Arab nation and the great Islamic religious nation. Finally draws attention to the reality of history nurtured hatred between Arabs and Israelis, currently exacerbated by the evangelical dispensationalist eschatology. It points out how this theological trend relates to the Ishmaelites Christian eschatology to consider them a potential obstacle to political and religious restoration of the ancient national ethnic Israel, who allegedly accept the Messiah, fulfilling the Old Testament prophecies of restoration"]
