Abstract
Dentro do campo de estudo escatológico contemporâneo, a teologia adventista está melhor preparada para abordar o capítulo 11, não apenas pelo seu interesse histórico, mas principalmente por sua compreensão singular da “grande guerra”, a saber, o grande conflito" [" Although the book of Daniel is the object of study since the early days of the Advent movement, it has not yet been exploited as it should. The study of chapter 10 of the book can provide an adequate hermeneutical key to the interpretation of chapters 11-12 and clarify an important environment and circumstance in which the prophet receives his revelations. Within the contemporary eschatological field of study, Adventist theology is better prepared to address Chapter 11, not only for their historical interest, but primarily for its unique understanding of the "Great War", namely the great controversy"]
