Abstract
"San José, Costa Rica fue sede del Instituto de Superación Ministerial (ISUM) en el mes de mayo del 2014, y me tocó enseñar la temida materia Elaboración de Monografías durante el mes completo. Usamos el excelente texto nuevo del SEC, la Guía de estilo y formato para monografías y tesis (la Guía), y pretendimos mantener un espíritu alegre usando el lema de MonaRé de Shields de monitos, donde el tema de cada monografía era un “mono,” y los alumnos lo tenían que capturar, amansar, alimentar, limpiar y preparar para inspección. En esta analogía, el profesor sería un veterinario de zoológico; aunque, con gran dolor y preocupación en el proceso, este profesor se sentiría más como un obstetra ayudando en 31 partos" ["San Jose, Costa Rica hosted the Ministerial Overcoming Institute (ISUM) in May 2014, and I had to teach the subject dreaded Monograph Development during the whole month. We use the excellent new text of SEC Guide style and format for monographs and dissertations (the Guide), and pretended to keep a cheerful spirit using the slogan MonaRé Shields of monkeys, where the subject of each paper was a "monkey, "and students they had to capture, tame, feed, clean and prepare for inspection. In this analogy, the teacher would be a zoo veterinarian; although, with great pain and worry in the process, this teacher would feel more like an obstetrician helping in 31 deliveries"]

Export search results
