Isaías en el Nuevo Testamento [Isaiah in the New Testament]

"¿Qué tienen en común las siguientes expresiones bíblicas?

– “Cosas que ojo no vio, ni oído oyó. . .”

– “Toda carne es como hierba, y toda la gloria del hombre como flor de hierba.”

– “Voz del que clama en el desierto, preparad el camino del Señor.”

– “Dios enjugará toda lágrima de los ojos de ellos.”

– “Comamos y bebamos, porque mañana moriremos.”

– “. . . cielo nuevo y tierra nueva.”

¿Acaso son todas expresiones encontradas en los cuatro evangelios . . . .? No. ¿Son todas expresiones del apóstol Pablo . . . .? Tampoco.

Todas son expresiones del Nuevo Testamento que tuvieron su origen en las profecías de Isaías.

Cualquier estudio acucioso del Nuevo Testamento revelará que sus escritores frecuentemente citaron palabras de las Sagradas Escrituras que conocían, es decir, del Antiguo Testamento. Las fibras de la revelación anterior se entretejen hermosamente en la revelación posterior. Entre los libros citados por los autores neotestamentarios, uno de los más destacados fue el del profeta Isaías" ["What they have in common the following biblical expressions?

Are they all expressions found in the four Gospels. . . .? No. Are all expressions of the Apostle Paul. . . .? Neither.

All are expressions of the New Testament that originated in the prophecies of Isaiah.

Any careful study of the New Testament will reveal that its writers frequently cited words of Scripture they knew, that is, the Old Testament.
