Abstract
In the book How to interpret the Bible yourself, Richard Mayhue ensures that tithing is a dogma that have traditionally placed between our biblical beliefs today. This, according to the aforementioned author is a result of a default of a doctrine or an established tradition without the necessary foundation rigid interpretation of the Scriptures from the concept. Mayhue says: "Many people faithfully brings ten percent of their income because they believe the Bible teaches that must decimated today." 1 To conclusively refute the teachings on tithing, Mayhue makes a brief analysis of the tithe in the law, but wrong to forget that the practice of tithing is much earlier"]
