Abstract
El burro camina… pero no logra nada de lo prometido, simplemente beneficia a su amo" ["In 1517 the Dominican Johannes Tetzel claimed sad celebrity by offering indulgences to fight the suffering souls. Martin Luther reacted to such ostentation triggering the Reformation. It was not just the painful deal that caused the existence of the Protestant church, but its unfortunate phrase sounded presumptuous and reckless: "As soon as the jingle of coins is heard in the background ofrendario, you will draw a soul from purgatory". Anger Luther had his reason. Tetzel resembled those who do walk the donkey on which they are mounted, dangling a carrot cane and suspending it in front of the animal's head. The donkey walks ... but can not promise anything, just benefits your love"]
