Abstract
This article seeks to identify the germ of secularization in the preaching of the ancient Israelite prophets. Adopt A Weberian approach of secularization as a process of rationalization that had its concrete starting point in ascetic Protestantism Calvinist Puritanism. It is understood that this type of Protestantism, in fact, resumed latent ideological elements in Christianity, which, in turn, inherited the Israeli prophecy"]
