Abstract
This paper examines the implementation of Information Technology (IT) on teaching and learning process within Islamic Education in Brunei Darussalam. For teachers, using IT or multimedia in the teaching process, especially in Islamic subjects is very important so that the material taught becomes more understandable and presentable. Besides, it provides a great benefit of flexibility in term of storage and usage, and enable access to a variety of resources that are high quality and relevant to curriculum, i.e. online resources. For students, the importance of IT media is to enable them to associate between concrete/tangible facts from the abstract ones, to help promoting the students’ retention, and to facilitate the simulation and recovery phases.
