Abstract
This article is intendend to be a systematic study of the anthropological terminology (corpus, anima, spiritus) in the text of the Regula Magistri. It shows the way this Hellenistic trichotomy articulates itself at the moral and dual level: anima-corpus or animaspiritus. The soul (anima) is the principle of liberty in both Plotinus’ Enneads and the Regula Magistri, man’s real possibility to bind himself to the body or to the spirit; the liberty that condemns or restores him"]
