Abstract
In this paper we intend to present the link between morality and beauty in Shaftesbury and Hutcheson, in order to sustain in which extent the notion of disinterested pleasure becomes the center of this connection. Also at stake it is to show the gradual construction of the notion of feeling or moral sense in these authors, which aims to harmonize the individual pleasure and the collective interest and the reveal of human disposition to virtue. The privilege of the notion of aesthetic experience and the condition of the spectator who judges morally are also themes that engaged the article in order to allow the reader realize that Shaftesbury and Hutcheson represent an important step considering the displacement of identity between the beautiful and good for the field of judgment, even if in their philosophies remain determinants metaphysical presuppositions"]
