Abstract

"A epístola de Judas se coloca à igreja como uma orientação importante no agir pastoral. Ao exortar os fiéis a perseverarem no caminho daqueles que, em Jesus Cristo, anunciaram a salvação e rejeitaram os ensinamentos que visam promover os interesses individuais e ideológicos, o autor orienta e alerta a igreja quanto à renuncia do mal: ela deve observar a realidade e saber identificar os ensinamentos acerca da salvação face às doutrinas oriundas do desejo de poder, de riqueza e prazer. O propósito deste estudo é analisar a carta a partir de uma pergunta importante para a igreja hoje: como discernir uma mensagem capaz de orientar ao amor, de discursos que visam interesses próprios, sem preocupação social? Nesta direção, o caminho a seguir nesta reflexão é: abordar o texto, sua estrutura e conteúdos correlatos; evocar do contexto sócio-histórico-religioso algumas pistas que ajudam na análise do texto e, por fim, buscar uma teologia que facilite respostas à pergunta feita ao texto" ["The Epistle of Jude is placed to the church as an important guidance in pastoral action.
